Roberta joined Hustle One Fitness during one of the times of year when most people fall off of their fitness routine: December!
Roberta wanted to get fit and active again after working from home during covid for so long.
She knew she needed to get into a new routine to break up her day, and give herself some goals to shoot for.
Now, Roberta works out 3-4 times per week, never skips her workout days, and it focused on getting stronger to enjoy her ski trip in February!
When asked about our West Ashley gym, here’s what she had to say:
“My favorite thing about the gym is the coaches! They are always there to help show you how to do something right so you don’t hurt yourself. Everyone is so friendly!”

What brought you to Hustle One in the first place?
“It was a gym that was close by and there looked to be small classes.”
What was your first impression? How has that changed?
“At first I thought maybe it was a muscle gym, but now I know it is a strength, wellness and community gym.”
What was your first “bright spot”?
“Learning the barbell movements! It’s something I have never been truly taught before, or really worked on, so I’m excited to learn more and get stronger!”
What are you working on now?
“Gaining strength!”
What’s your favorite Hustle One memory?
“Meeting River! LOL. Who doesn’t want to meet the gym dog!”
