Here’s what he had to say about his journey so far!
“I started at 265 back in June, and dropped down to 245 by early August. I am super happy with my progress so far, but my ultimate goal for now is 220. Once I get closer, I may adjust depending on how I look and feel.
I have remained committed because I know I am putting in the work and results will come with time.
What helped me the most with my motivation was having the right mindset. Generally, I’m a pretty impatient person when it comes to things like this, but I knew was going to take a long time so I went in with the mindset of striving to do the right things every day.
It’s also helpful to take note of the small milestones! Like, for example, last week I realized I went down a belt loop! I was shocked! I am still around the same weight, but my body composition is changing. I am building muscle and losing fat, so I’m still thinning out as I go.
The commitment became easier with time, because I just feel better overall- all the time.
Outside of the gym, my habits have changed too! I am more focused on my diet and alcohol consumption. Staying consistent in the gym has helped me make better choices outside of the gym, because I don’t want to feel bad from alcohol or vaping when I workout. These used to be issues for me, but not anymore.
I am extremely happy with my progress so far, and I can’t wait to se more results for the rest of this year!”
