Ashley Hoertt knows that better than anyone.
As a 37-year-old occupational therapist, Ashley spends her days helping others move better and feel stronger. But last summer, she realized it was time to do the same for herself.
“I was growing tired of my current gym. It was very heavy on the cardio, and I was wanting to get back into strength training—while still having classes to keep me motivated.”

“I felt bored and stuck in my routine. My strength felt low, and I wasn’t being challenged. I just didn’t feel like myself anymore.”

Since starting, Ashley has hit personal records she hasn’t touched since her 20s.
“I’m most proud of improving my strength and hitting some PRs I’ve either never had before or haven’t been able to hit since I was younger.”

“I feel more like myself again. My clothes fit better, I’ve lost some weight, and it feels so good seeing muscle definition poking through again.”

Outside the gym, the impact has been just as powerful.
Ashley feels more grounded and resilient during stressful days at work. Her tennis game? Sharper than ever.
“I’ve noticed my game improve—faster footwork, better endurance, and just feeling more capable.”
