“How often should I workout?”

“How often should I workout?”

This is one of the most common questions I receive from ordinary people like you all the time.

I get it: you are busy.

You have a full time job.

You might be a full time parent.

And it just seems like there aren’t enough hours in the day.

Believe it or not, you are not alone.

I am going to answer this common question with two easy questions to ask yourself.
“What are my goals?”

Before you begin a workout and nutrition routine, it’s important to figure out your goals.

It could be as simple as, “I want to look good in my swimsuit this summer!”

Or, “I need to bring my cholesterol down based on my doctor’s prescription.”

Any plan without a goal, or set of goals, is likely to fizzle out because you have no direction.

It will be difficult for you to remain motivated on your fitness and nutrition journey if you don’t know where you are starting, or where you are going.

That’s where a professional coach comes in, to answer the question: “How often should I workout?”

Your goal is your goal, but a professional coach can help connect the dots and objectively lay out the action steps to take you from point A to point B.

“What can I realistically commit to?”

Starting a new routine might not be the problem.

Have you ever done this?

You begin a new workout routine with guns blazing.

Wake up at 5am, hit the gym by 6am, get your workout done by 7am, and you are on with your day.

You do this for 10 days straight, and you are crushing it!

One morning comes around, and you decide to hit the snooze button and skip your workout. “No big deal, I’ll go to the gym tomorrow.”

Well, tomorrow comes and you do the same thing again because your bed is so much more comfortable than the gym.

Before you know it, it’s been a week and you haven’t made it back to the gym!!

What happened?

You focused on your goals like a sprint, and not a longterm commitment.

Getting those 6 pack abs you have always wanted doesn’t come from short, quick, inconsistent weeks at the gym.

Your results come from small, consistent habits over time.

It is tough to remain motivated by yourself.

It is a lot easier to remain motivated when your coach is taking these steps with you everyday.

When planning your week and workout routine, always focus on small, consistent actions that you can do everyday to take you to your goals.

“How often should I workout?”

Answering this question for yourself boils down to one thing: consistency.

It is not about the big changes in your life that take you to your goals.

It is about doing the small things everyday, even if it means you move 1% closer to your goals.

That’s where Hustle One Fitness comes in.

Our workout program is designed to help move you 1% closer to your goals everyday.

It doesn’t seem like much, but when you add up weeks of consistency, you will be amazed at what you can achieve!
